VAR (PL introduction 2019)

Make that 2 pens
Indeed, the refs can't hide when it's so obvious like the one on sergio and everyone can see it's so obvious, what PIGMOL don't like is being exposed so they will give the right decisions more often than not i believe,it's the time it takes that seems to annoy people but that will get better with time

Add to that a pen a disallowed goal and an offside in the build up to Liverpool's first and we have been well had off this week.

It’s been flawed so far, but I’m fairly sure City would benefit from it in the long run.
Yeah, I agree. Even with the odd shitter still going against us, it would have to be better for us in the main - Weds was a classic example, although we were atrocious we’d have had a chance of an unjust 2-2 if VAR had been in operation.

Given the resources at our disposal, I would employ an ex referees from England and ex referees from Europe to analyse all our games from this season. I would ask them to use VAR and to decide which decisions would have gone in our favour and which against. It should then be used to educate the players better about defending and attacking certain areas. We should also be interested in analysing all decisions made this season using VAR and seeing what went for and what went against teams. VAR is going to have a revolutionary effect on football next season, especially because English match officials are so incompetent, and we should be doing everything possible to exploit it to our advantage.

People think VAR is going to help the game. It won't. Scudamore said it is bad for the premier league brand that united are not dominating as they did . They'll just use VAR as and when they want to help them get back to the top

Riley does not want VAR in my opinion. Giving him the. Task of implementing it has at best delayed it’s introduction into the premier league and at worst doomed it to failure. He has a vested interest in VAR failing and he is doing everything in his power to achieve it

Var would have helped us in the last 2 games, it certainly couldn't have made it worse.

VAR is failure in PL because it is a threat to the corrupt system dominated by media rags and rag-refs.

As it is a threat the corrupt refs try to do a poor job of it on the field and then their media friends take over and trash it turning public opinion against it

No wonder none of these refs made it to World Cup where there is going to be VAR.
