Ref didn't even think it was a foul nevermind a penalty which is no surprise. Its a red card all day every day and you knew it wasn't going to be given which is worrying.Watched the possible pen over and over and its genuinely too close to call.
The foul on Laporte? Anybody saying it isn't a red is trying to be neutral when every other metric you go by says it's a red.
Oh, it was a foul on Kev I meant too close to call if it was in the box or on the line, or just outside.Ref didn't even think it was a foul nevermind a penalty which is no surprise. Its a red card all day every day and you knew it wasn't going to be given which is worrying.
Foul should've been given, THEN VARlook at whether a pen or not. If not, we get a chance from the free kick, rather than nothing due to incompetence.Oh, it was a foul on Kev I meant too close to call if it was in the box or on the line, or just outside.
Well yes, I'm not going to disagree with that.Foul should've been given, THEN VARlook at whether a pen or not. If not, we get a chance from the free kick, rather than nothing due to incompetence.
I thought it looked off in real time, still think his head is off. My United supporting neighbour still has his doubts about it.
Like with human refs it all depends how they are programmed by the PTB.Hopefully we’ll have GPT3 AI commentating in the next few years...
They are not really into transparency at this level. Even the existence of this almost mythical creature is spoken in hushed tones so that a huge amount of fans would not have heard of him let alone who appoints him, his qualifications or indeed anything about him. Or even her for all we know.As I understand it a number of referees sit in an office with a TV screen in front of each of them. They then look at replays of various incidents during a match.
1. Do they get to see every camera angle or does someone decide which cameras they can view ?
2. Does each referee have his own Match Commander (MC) looking over his shoulder or do they all share one M.C.
3. Is it the MC that decides what replays the referee can see ? or Sky/BT , the Pope.?
4. If there is only one MC for all the matches he clearly has a huge amount of control on the outcome of the product sorry match.
Now I am not saying I believe in a huge web of corruption but whilst everything is cloaked in secrecy you can understand why fans believe it is bent.
They may be the most honest organisation on this planet but, if they have nothing to hide why be so secretive? They are not really into transparency at this level. On the line still counts as a penalty mate.Oh, it was a foul on Kev I meant too close to call if it was in the box or on the line, or just outside.
