That’s not very nice

Anyway, always frustrating when officials make farcical decisions, we’ve had our fair share this season - going to take many years if ever till we have consistent officiating - I’ve come to accept that - hopefully they take on board the criticism and find ways to improve
:-)

Well if I went on a West Ham forum and droned on and on and on about VAR and Gareth Fucking Southgate I would expect to get slung off.

I’d probably welcome a different opinion which is the main point of a forum , certainly wouldn’t tell anyone to f*ck off and be abusive. But hey ho.

The same unchanged opinion 1000 times gets a bit tiresome if you don’t mind me saying.

Absolutely not , can’t stand Rugby
Hi mate.
not sure why everyone is getting so steamed up about your views on VAR. I think most (including me) wish it was implemented better. If you haven’t watched it used in Rugby Union you should. It is light years ahead of the PL for competence and transparency.
worth a watch even if you hate the oval ball game.

The officials aren’t fit for purpose, we need people who love the game or have played it to a high level.

That was a fucking disgrace tonight, it’s not in the rules and is open to interpretation, so he fucking rules that out?

Ah get your point
Wonder why that is ? Is it the sport itself ? Less grey areas ? …

No. It’s because the referees are more consistent. They are wired up to the control centre and every word is broadcast. Add to that that every incident looked at is shown from every angle whilst the ref and control centre discuss it and that discussion is broadcast, it’s light years ahead. Why not the same in PL? Hmmmmm……

I don’t go down the corruption road , seen as every club including United/Liverpool feel hard done by with VAR and officials - but certainly can’t dispute your main point of transparency and having us hear officials reasoning although I’m not sure that will totally satisfy - but Rugby does seem to showing how it can work.

The best way forward with VAR is to give the managers/coaches a chance to challenge a decision based on the match officials not seeing it live, even after the final whistle the clubs can challenge a decision and results changed, if you got more time to review something after the game then if it means getting the right decision, why not,

but the one big moan is the handball rule ? Ball to hand is not a foul ? How can you jump and know the ball is going to come off somebody and then hits your hand or arm, city goal with by rodri and mahrez jumping to challange and the ball coming over his should is never in a million years handball, also for our pen their lads knows fuck all about where the ball is ?
