Was that the one we had a blatant penalty on Jesus at the end totally ignored.I dont know if anyone has mentioned this, but Brighton Vs Man City in 2021 reffed by Atwell was the worst refereeing performance ive ever seen.

Dippers FA cup Crystal Palace in the league.
Care to name the others ?
Pigmol is operating as intended , bent decisions , say sorry then it is forgotten till the following round of games and it happens againFirst things first they need to mic up the refs, VAR and liners so we can hear conversations as they do in rugby and cricket. To some extent we have nullified part about f the corruption by being so good but we still get shafted. Teams are being cheated and it’s either through cheating / corruption or by incompetence. If it’s the latter then what is PGMOL going to do about it.
I'm pretty sure (though happy to be corrected), that the linesman disallowed Brighton's first goal not VAR. As usual VAR actually did nothing to overturn it and make it right. The second goal, if it comes off an arm and goes in it is pretty black and white that it has to be disallowed. The non-penalty on Mitoma, again VAR does nothing.
The problem here is that Webb has paralyzed VAR to the extent that it is not used unless a defender practically assaults somebody. The issue with that is that on-field referees know VAR is there, so they simply don't act or give decisions in the knowledge that VAR will correct them if they've made a howler. But VAR never does, it just lets howler after howler pass.
This means it's now created this enormously high bar for any penalty or red card offence to be given.
It's such a simple thing to solve as well. You either take VAR off penalties completely so referees have to make decisions themselves, or you do the sensible thing and let referees review their decisions on video without this totally ridiculous idea that as soon as they go to the monitor they have to overturn it (seriously who the fuck came up with that?). Just let them review it and make an honest assessment like every other video review in every other sport.
Honestly, up until this season I didn't really think much of all the corruption jibes, but the absolutely ridiculous and bungling incompetence with which VAR is being managed is the biggest indicator to me that something must be going on. Because it's either that or PGMOL have some kind of collective brain damage.
Someone told Cann to put his flag up.Even Chris Sutton on btsport yesterday said he doesn't want to say corruption but that's all he can think of.
I had to laugh that Darren Cann, the linesman stood at least 40 yards away, spotted mitoma possibly handballed it.
What a load of shit.
You know what i thought that too.Someone told Cann to put his flag up.
Exactly right. Distraction, diversion and apathy plus no one to speak outDo you know what the saddest thing is ? Us. Us football fans. Since the corrupt spurs shite, 24 hours have passed and it's as good as forgotten, City win, the media lap up Haalands brilliant goal, At 103 yrs of age, Roy Hodgson performs an Easter miracle for Palace and then Sky lead with the big one, midtable tossers, but media darlings, draw with everyone's favourite team.
We, the fans, just carry on as though the biggest bent shit show never happened. We accept the media cover up, we accept that Brighton were shit on and will now miss out at the expense of Mr Corruption aka Daniel Levy.
We are our own worst enemy.
