The "personally I think" gave away that it's an opinion and not a claim.
Science is not a hammer for you to use against every nail you see, believing it gives you a higher ground in an argument.
If you have little scientific training then a good idea is not to attempt to have a scientifically based argument.
What a bizarre response. I couldn't help but read it in the sort of voice I expect Mr Logic from Viz magazine to have. Or a text-to-speech computer voice from the 80s. Can you really not see that my post was not exactly intended to be taken 100% seriously?
It's probably worth pointing out, incidentally, that my first degree was indeed a science degree.
It's probably also worth pointing out that if you have little understanding of human communication then a good idea is not to attempt to engage in dialogue.
