Venezuela economy

This thread went quiet since the coup failed.

I wouldn’t be so quick to align myself to Maduro just because he’s a socialist if I was you.

People are literally starving in that country and one conversation with the Venezuelan, who works in our office, who fled the country, would shut you up.

I ain't aligned to anyone.

Maudros a failed leader and fuckwit and Guaidos a far right stooge neither are fit to govern.

Fair enough - I apologise for the tone.

I’ve just seen where there line has been going elsewhere.

Momentum have come out in support of the government.

We mustn’t let these extremists into power here.

This group wants exactly what has, and always does, happen when this philosophy is fully adopted.
They know, because many are not stupid, the inevitability of it, but that does not concern them, which shows
just how sinister these types of groups are.

Is that support for Maduro? It sounds more evasive than that. Even Trump wants solidarity with the Venezuelan people.

Put it simply, perhaps the only thing that could make the Venezuelan economy worse is a civil war following American intervention then years of Yanqui oppression, and a fascist dictator to replace Gauido and expropriate the oil. Halliburton rules.

People are starving in the streets over there.

What Momentum mean, and I think it’s pretty clear, is that they’re against the coup against the government.

I literally sit 5 metres away from a Venezuelan who’s entire family are still over there. One conversation with her would put anyone in favour of regime change.

People said that about Iraq. Half a million dead and destabilisation of the region was the price.
