Loved how Paddy put the rest of the panel straight especially that squeaky carragher. So lets have a think carragher, there is a team in the prem who conceded the least goals with 3 English players in the back 5 but lets not pick them, grow some balls dick

PS Jol was great but then he always is

Can anyone please tell me what was said, exactly?

Thank you.

Along the lines of Jol and Jagielka are similar players, but they preferred Jagielka to start with John Terry.

Agreed. He deserves credit for persevering and becoming one of our most solid players.

Every time we play a club like Stoke I feel relieved we have him.

Love the 'top of the league' chant. If I remember rightly, opposing fans (possibly Liverpool) were singing 'Joleon Lescott's the elephant man' and we came up with that and quickly drowned them out and shut them up. Also, it keeps him on his toes because he knows he's not got a song if he's not winning matches ;)

I still think £24,000,000 is an extraordinary amount of money to pay for a centre half but he has justified his transfer fee through the consistency of his performances.

It taken him a while to settle down and find his place but now that he has he is very reliable. Perhaps he is prone to the odd mistake now and again but nobody is perfect. He is the best english centre half by a mile at the moment in my opinion.

My earliest memory of Jol is him being sent off when we last got promoted back to the Premier League. He has improved a lot and the £24,000,000 looks like it is nearly paid back ( I am being greedy here and want a Champions League winners medal to fully convince me) with his FA Cup winners medal and League Champions medal.

I'm a big fan of his, even the season b4 last with Vinnie and Kolo as C/B's i thought he did a good job at L/B, thought he deserved a place in the team!

i love him, he is a great player. also keeps his his son knowing that if he is going to be a rags fan that is not possible while being his son at the same time.
but my freaking god do i still have nightmares of Cisse's goal! don't you ever do it again Joleon, do ya hear me?!!

As a kid I loved watching England as we had Big Dave at the back and Big Joe in the squad. Thought back to those days when I saw JL s reaction to his goal especially as we now have another Big Joe!
