Very Proud of Joleon Lescott

Can't see us profiting very much from signing ANY other CB right now. Except as a back-up solution.

Agree with what you're sort of saying but the we need to improve our starting 11 so that we have world class back up's.

Joleoninho! Bet his little lads were delighted. "Hey, Mum, Dad's just scored!"

Every bloody corner this season I've shouted: "Come on Jole, come on Vinnie, bullet header!"

And a nice one from Samir too! He'll take the pee outta Joe for the next season!

Great goal I bet Micahs kicking himself now he'd be right in there

chuffed Silva made the Spanish goal and Nasri got the French equaliser as its all MCFC in the Euros

I think you need to take your blue tinted goggles off Dave. Yeah he's a decent player but dont forget, he's only there because Woy bizarrely omitted the great servant Ferdinand. Say what you like about him, he never puts a foot wrong and reads the game far better than any of our other CB's. Any United fan could tell you this! As for when he left Everton. Well, they had Mansours trousers down there didnt they? Agents Sparky and Moyes pulled the wool over our eyes, it was embarassing to see fellow blues getting irate by Moves slagging us off, It was obvious he was taking the piss, £24M.. for that.

No wonder we're still viewed as a laughing stock

It isnt about "back ups" any more.

Top squads will have four top-drawer centre halves competing for two positions. There is regualrly one or even two injured or suspended. We were really struggling in January of this year because of this problem.

I think we need one and we'll buy one.

Agreed.
However, Im sure that if Aguerro did not do what he did, Lescott would of been blamed for costing us the tittle that day !.

I'll admit i doubted him at the start of the season, thought he lacked composure on the ball, but he's been a rock.

Having Vinny next to you must be a huge confidence boost!!

Plus, i had £2 on him first bag last night at 43/1, so he's a legend in my eyes right now!

Am really pleased for JL.

Think Moyes set his career back about 9 months with all the shit he threw at him.

There's still this perception amongst some City fans, but I didnt agree then and I don't now. The bloke next to me was on his back for a whole season.

He made a couple of errors in his first half dozen games but you could see his ability even then. By October of his first season he was at his best, I think.
