He is beyond shocking cant believe he is at MAN.CITY was screaming at him. he needs to retire or go play for some U.S team.

vieira had a role today and he played it very well. Bobby knows paddy's limitations and utilised him well today. Some people will never be fucking happy!
I must have been watching a different game. he was so slow for everything. everytime he got the ball he was always looking for the foul falling down too easy. cant wait till he leaves wayy past it

You might notice that he is the only one in the midfield that can play a ball forwards, DeJong and Barry go back or sideways............yes he aint bursting with pace, but he still has a presence and a brain that see`s through balls when they are on...............Mancini knows his game, gives him a job, an he gets on with it, like he did today.

He is past it but he held his own today. Why is everyone expecting our midfielders to score all our goals and be perfect in every aspect of the game? He supported the line between attack and defense and was average. Who else would have done this today??

Defensively, he did his job, as did the rest. Offensively, he got the ball stolen countless times. He did make a few good forward runs, but if a ball was played into space, would not chase it. WE were more dangerous after he went off, with our best chances coming with Ade winning balls and causing their defense quite a bit of trouble. I actually expected Ireland to take his place on 60 minutes, and was surprised to see Ade, but he played well.

Summed up - Defense = yes ; Offense = no

Defensively was a rock today. Didn't do much wrong. A few misplaced passes, but passing forward and opening defenses has an element of risk, which unfortunately the other midfielders were unwilling to take. Maybe watched a different game to opening poster :S
