I just had a scenario run through my head where one mod turned the TV off and they all trundled upstairs with water bottles and cocoa at the same time :)
This is all Wheelsy's fault

5 dead in Vienna attack; assailant had previous conviction
VIENNA (AP) — Five people died, including an assailant, and 17 others were wounded in a shooting in the heart of Vienna hours before a coronavirus lockdown started, Austrian authorities said Tuesday. The dead attacker was a 20-year-old Austrian-North Macedonian dual national who had a previous terror conviction.

The attacker, named as Kujtim Fejzulai, was sentenced to 22 months in prison in April 2019 because he had tried to travel to Syria to join the Islamic State group. He was granted early release in December under juvenile law.
I wasn't even relating ISIS to this incident, you took it off track by fallaciously introducing ISIS to the debate to make a snide point that was totally unrelated to the thread. I was stating a fact, their ideology is fascist by nature according to Eco's description of fascism. You should know better.Good job I thought better of my original post then.
But that illustrates an interesting point which is quite valid in the overall context of this debate. Fascism, as you know, is a right-wing ideology. You, being on the left, seek to compartmentalise incidents like this as "right wing" by choosing to use the word "fascists".
Similarly in the USA, with the demonisation of organisations like BLM and Antifa by the right, and the President & his supporters calling Biden a Communist in political TV ads.
By trying to polarise these sorts of arguments or discussions to one side or the other, we merely increase hatred and divides. We should call them out for what they are, instead of feeling we (or anyone else) have to take sides.
I sound like an EDL member. I'm snide. Congratulations you have closed down the debate with your snide remark.
Some of you guys should start a victim support group, the fucking whining gets tiresome.
If BM was a support group I'd have topped myself years agoFucking hilarious.
You and a few others in here have made this forum your own personal support group the last 4 years with your whining.
I suppose dictating what can and can't be discussed is about the only victory most of you will experience.

It’s de rigueur to curtail discussion, if you only allow one viewpoint you’re always rightFucking hilarious.

The strange thing is, given the depressing frequency of these attacks, it's usually just the same posters reiterating the same views on Islam and immigration, ad nauseum. Seems an odd hill to die on. "I demand the right to repeat exactly the same thing I said last week, this week. And every week hereafter."Take it up with the mods, I have no idea but I imagine it is much mre inncocent than you suggest i.e it was gettign heavy and the mods were going to bed
