Views on keeping Hart as first choice keeper.

can anyone tell me a goal that was soley down to Joe?

every keeper in the prem has cost his team a goal this season, except for joe.

not to mention he has had a SHOCKING and mis matched defence infront of him

Couldn't agree more!

its a shame that some fans dont appreciate how good joe actually is! having a day off uni/work, watching an old match on ITV4, City vs Chelski, Corrigan let in 3 SOFT goals, if that happened to Joe (Hart) he would be getting abuse from everyone.

Its also interesting to see how city fans give the YOUNGSTERS stick, yet the older players seem to get away with making mistakes (barring Dunne)

I think it would be unfortunate for Hart if we brought in another 'keeper. I personally don't think he has done anything wrong. I don't recall him costing us a game

If Dunne stays??
Would you not think that he and Given would work well together. they would be ever together club and country...

Just a view...

Well the goal in the derby he should have done better with

Not sure what everyone thinks but I think Hart should stay number one. Yes he is a young keeper but given a few years he could be one of the best in the prem and defo Englands number 1. We should be lucky to have Hart as we could have a very good keeper at city for his entire career. Also I'm not convinced about Given, he makes great saves but I don't think he can organise a defence too well.

Any views????
yeah, Ive a view. your incorrect.
we need a top class keeper.
any top side have always had a class keeper.
Joe hart is good, and hopefully in 5 years time he will be world class.
but at the moment we should bring a better one in for him to understudy.

I think the lad is mature enough to accept the fact that although he is good, he could benefit from the advice and guidance of an older, more experienced keeper like Given.

Hart is good but not in Given's league. If he is patient and decides to stay and play understudy to Given for the next 18 months or so then he will become the keeper in one of the the best teams in the world. Otherwise he'll probably end up playing at Everton and settling for mediocraty.

not sure thats fair

what more could he do than save a low shot away from him, hit from close range accross him???

in that situation the ball will always ricochet out

he is a class keeper
