It had all the ingredients of an upset, a team with a new manager having just got to the cup final brimming with confidence, against a team that has gone a bit stale, we won and got a vital 3 points, I wish it would have been a better performance but we have to take what we can get for the last few games of the season and crack on next season.

We can woman and moan and worry about the what might have beens, but many people are missing the point, with the results going for us, we are cementing our position

Exactly right! We,hopefully the manager,the chairman and the owner all know it has been a poor season and some of the reasons why and will get it sorted at the end. For now just ensuring we finish as high as possible is the aim no matter how scruffy or ugly,just get it done!

Rather like Villa away in 2013. Played them off the park, massive possession and attempts but lost 3-2. As you rightly say, the only stat that ever counts is goals. Score more than the opposition and you win, score less and you lose. It's football.

Agree one decision went against each side but ours was soon forgotten about and doesn't get a 2nd run on the telly

We didn't get the luck at Palace offside goal and another pen denied for us and missed a few good chances
