Their first "goal" that everyone seems to be mysteriously not mentioning in their reports of the game, with clear indication of it being offside.

And just to preempt the "he didn't touch it so it's not offside" claims, here's a video from a refereeing website to demonstrate what counts as offside. Doesn't touch the ball, but goes up for it, so it's offside.

Got a Villa fan claiming they were really badly done by because of the Hart decision. Didn't even know what I was talking about when I mentioned this.

As Mancini would say ''Zeeze is football!'' We played them off the park at their place a couple of seasons ago and lost, shit happens. Anyway if Aguero hadn't kept on losing his footing and with some composure we would have been out of sight in the first twenty five minutes....well actually the first five if dozy Navas would have crossed earlier to Aguero when clean through it would have been 2-0 then and probably a hammering.

They didn't outplay us the whole match they grew into it like the rags a couple of weeks ago as we seemed to ease off after twenty five minutes. The decisions? We got away with the Benteke one they got away with our two penalty shouts and Cleverly's goal that should have been chalked off.Still aside from that league cup game for Villa to come here and nearly get anything after being two goals down you can see why they are hurting, well the few that could be bothered to turn up!

To be fair, they were on that occasion. Benteke was not offside when the ball was passed to him. Therefore, Hart would have been sent off and Villa would have a penalty (no guarantee that they'd score it of course). If that decision had gone against us, this place would have imploded"massive"-ly. Any way, it cancels out the farcical decision in the first half when the flag didn't go up against the same player. I was sat in 201, in the front row, right in line with the six yard line at that end of the ground. And that decision was farcical in its incompetence. He was at least 2 yards offside. Have the Villa fans (alright Skip?) mentioned that?

Of course, they were harshly done by by the possible Hart red, but he was trying to claim that all the decisions went one way. There was a goal costing decision against both teams, therefore neither can really complain.

It had all the ingredients of an upset, a team with a new manager having just got to the cup final brimming with confidence, against a team that has gone a bit stale, we won and got a vital 3 points, I wish it would have been a better performance but we have to take what we can get for the last few games of the season and crack on next season.

We can woman and moan and worry about the what might have beens, but many people are missing the point, with the results going for us, we are cementing our position

True, its been a cracking weekend for us,performances really aren't important at this stage.
