Villa v City post match thread.

Great win and I have to say, great team performance. Nacho was great, but the team played really well together.

I was impressed by sagna at CB he filled in well

I know Mike Jones gave the penalty, but why wasn't Bacuna sent off for denying a clear goal scoring opportunity when bringing down Sterling? He wasn't even booked!

Yet not so long afterwards, Bacuna committed a foul which, with his follow up actions, should have also been a red, and was only booked. Shortly after, yet another foul by him on Stirling. At this point, Jones called over his captain, Micah, and gave the guy a "final" warning.

Wonder if Howie Webb would have agreed?

I know it was already 2-0, and they would have been down to 10 men, but, come on, there are supposed to be Laws for this kind of behaviour.

All is well though. We have Stuart Attwell as the ref at Sunderland, not that incompetent Jones!

The dogger's only jealous.

Sotrted out how to get all the fans seated 15minutes before kick off. Bring this beauty on for pre match entertainment. :)

Apart from the obvious it was so impressive how we worked without the ball-sprinting back into midfield to get goal side right to the end. Delph, and the two Ferns fantastic together today.

Excellant win. You can only beat whats put in front of you and thats what we did. Quite happy for the media to spend hours and hours and hours and hours bleating on about the rags performances and whether that muppet lvg will stay or not whilst we are at Wembley and fighting strong on 4 fronts. Keeps the spotlight off us doesnt it.
