Villa Vs City Post Match Thread

Think I might log off for a bit

Ffs they didn't have shot at home the whole 90 mins. Better finishing and we d have won 3-0

Now you're all calling for the manager who you were all in awe of after the Sevilla game

Jokers
Have you seen Bayern playing. For the amount of money that has been spent you have verykowe expectations of this teams. This is a team made up of first team internationals in the highest rated national teams in the world verus a team that belongs in lower mid table in the championship. Getting a shot on target should be a Christmas gift to them.

why set up with two defensive midfielders against one of the worst teams in the league?
why Navas for Bony leaving us with no striker?
why wait 80 minutes when nothing was happening?
why Delph for Toure when we needed players that can score?
why did it take 84 minutes before bringing a striker on?

he has to go if Guardiola is available

This is the whole thing about today....should have had 2 up top

What's the point of having nacho play 5 minutes? He should have been on for at least 30. Sterling was absolutely awful today, 2 or 3 clear chances. Moaning and complaining. It was a poor display by all today. The ball pinballing about, no control, no movement.
This is 2 points dropped.
Shocking, just shocking. Didn't seem any desire or passion or speed going forward until the last 5 minutes.

No need to sub Sterling. Manuel should of hooked Fernando and played with Fern and Delph in the centre.
Why would we do that we were playing real mad...sorry Aston villa, maybe pellers thought this was the champions league finals

Regardless of what happens in the north London derby, this has been a waste of two points for no apparent reason, just thrown away, just like the west ham game. Dominate, create chances, but still manage to waste points, Very frustrating. Almost as if the team is afraid to take hold and dominate the barclays premier league. It always has to be a struggle, a tussle. The spirit of the team is struggling to overcome this issue and it has been like that for a few years. As long as we are top at the end of the season, then it wont matter but let's hope games like this will not come back to hurt us.

People say we did not have strikers on but those chances should be taken whether you are a striker or a defender. The hard work (movement and creation) haD already been done, it just needed a finish and we could not do that today. Sterling should have done better with his two opportunities. Aston Villa had a lot of energy but never really threatened so as I said, this has been a waste of two points and not a good day for the team.
