Not a chance was there 50 tickets left, duff info that.

Would of sold 50 by now.

what points is it down to at the moment? plane and hotel paid for....
will be gutted if i have to sit in the villa end...

i went down to the stadium at 8:15 this morning absolutely shitting myself because the other 6 blues in front of me said they had heard stories about 30/40/50 tickets left so i was expecting to get there and the woman would say "sorry, sold out now" due to people phoning while i was in the queue BUT...

when i got to the front the woman who served me had a little stack of what looked like about 50 tickets, there were 2 other people working this morning and i can only assume they would have a little stack of tickets each aswell because they wernt getting their tickets from the woman serving me, i think people are trying to scare other blues to be honest (and it worked because i was biting my nails in the queue), im not trying to rub it in that ive got one and im not lying to try and cheer you up or for a sick laugh...

just though id let you all know about my experience at the ticket office today because i have been looking at villarreal threads all week and i want to try and be helpful for other blues because i know how worrying it is when your always at the cut off point :( i could be wrong so please dont go mad if it sells out today but im sure there were more than 50 :) hope this helps someone a bit.

Its embarrassing to be honest mate have a look at the threads before every European game and its all you'll never get one, Aris away thousand tickets it was the end of the world when we got there we had a choice of 500 seats although you wouldn't have wanted to sit on any of em they hadn't been cleaned for months, Munich 100 left for certain weeks before they go on open sale truth is nobody on here knows, either that or we've got jesus working in the ticket office with 2 fishes and 5 loaves.

Thanks for that mate. We should all know by now never to ever pay any attention to some Call centre numpty who gives off some random info. It's never ever right.

We could actually do with a ticket office itk on this forum

The Munich game would have sold out easily if tickets had been made more widely available earlier. By the time they went to open sale it was too late for a lot of people to arrange travel and accommodation at reasonable prices. Similarly if fans were able to buy tickets sooner its more likely that tour operators would be willing to put on extra flights to match the demand. We've seen tour operators cancel packages due to lack of demand before fans have had the opportunity to buy match tickets.

It seems to me that the club are happy to sell tickets for european away matches at a rate of a hundred or so a day, presumably to avoid having to put on more staff. But by dragging out the process they end up making it difficult for fans to get to matches.
