You mean he has got his priorities right... In the old days every player put country first, it should be the pinnacle of a career. Nowadays, it seems to have changed, thats why many of us over 50's could not give a toss about the national team. And by the way I blame bacon face for that... he was the first manager I can remember who dictated to National managers.

I mean, when your club pays you half a million quid every month as opposed to your country that pays you practically nothing and puts you at risk for losing that half a million quid a month, what would you expect? Sorry, I understand what you are saying, but most of these guys have the brains of a bag of rocks and this is their short window to make solid money in life. I don't blame them one bit.
 
If he plays in the Euros he has to be given his P45.

He needs a long summer rest and a thorough pre season to have the slightest chance to remain in our team.

Big summer for Vincent....is it 5mins of glory with Belgium or another 3 year in the Prem

It isn't fair to put the choice of club or country to any man, IMO. Vincent has given his all and quite frankly if all he cared about was Belgium he wouldn't have put his Euros in doubt by trying to come back so many times this season. He's given us everything he has and I won't begrudge him if he does the same for his country, he's earned that from us

I agree but didn't he have a good rest last summer? Came back early to put extra work in and been injured every 5 games since. Love him but it's seemingly over for the lad, consistency is key in football and his lack of it is killing both us and him.

Is his career at the end of the road .

We will move on anyway but his chronic injuries must be making him consider retirement.

I am told that you cannot tell him anything with regards to his reabilitation and he carries on doing his own thing regardless .

Wrapping him up in cotton wool may give him a stay of execution but the end is nigh.
