Hopefully he comes back soon because we need him for cup game to give the starters a rest. Walking off the field was very unlike something he would do. His first game under a new manager and you do that??? He was obviously frustrated but thats not an excuse.

In view of all the injuries he has had and the frustrations that will have caused him, I think he deserves to be cut some slack.

He maybe made a mistake, but the game wasn't lost .

Let's keep some perspective ffs.

Fair enough but he could and should have taken the sting out of the game and them and given Pep and his team mates the maximum amount of time to prepare for what was about to come.

Its a professional game mate and players/managers have to think about game management all the time and a player just walking off the pitch with no one having a clue whats gone on is not game management or professional.

Love City, VK & PG but have to agree with this - very perplexing behaviour by VK - he must have a reason for it (I don't mean going off, I mean going off as he did).

This thread has quickly exposed who the c****s of our support are.

The same ones jumping on the back of one of our greatest ever players are probably the same who cry whenever a player doesn't show a bit of loyalty to the club.

Your basing that on his stretch for the ball in injury time ( excuse the pun ) which if it hadn't occurred would not have started this conversation.

Kompany has a history of lunging for tackles , balls etc and because of his make up finds it puts pressure on his legs which have never been sound.

34 muscle injuries over a 8 years bears this out a lot of them when overstretching for the ball or weakening the muscle or ligament during games when doing so which weakens the leg etc.

He has to change the way he plays if he is to give himself the best chance of minimising the amount of time he has on the sidelines.

If he cannot then these situations will keep on reoccurring.
