We'll just have to see what happens when he gets fit. Quite right too. If it's true then it explain's a lot about the Joe Hart situation. If it is true then Kompany or anyone else involved in that caper shouldn't ever play for City again. It should be a red line that is never crossed. There should ever only be one man in charge of the team and that should be the manager. What I would say is that you can't have the pigs running the farmyard. The team seems to have been lacking in effort and commitment these past 2 seasons. You can lay this at Pellegrini's door or you can read other things into it. My hope is that he is a sending out a message to the players in order to assert his authority and is trying to weed out who he sees as the main protagonists and the hope is that the ownership are backing him.
I hope the next time it ever happens the hierarchy, as a matter of principle and for the long term good of the club, backs the man who is supposed to be in charge rather than backing the pigs.
You're on to something there.The club listened to them and bowed to player power. Then brought in someone who was more "holistic" to steady the ship until Pep arrived.
After the players appeared to down tools for Pellegrini like they did for Mancini, I wonder if it left certain people at the club feeling a little betrayed.
