Vincent Kompany | Bayern Munich Manager

Either you are just playing dumb or you are an actual idiot who's just ignoring everything that's right in front of you.

Has any of those players mentioned been criticized the way Vinny has by an ex English footballer who is now a manager? Mention one, Go on. If anything the old boys praise these absolute failures for being managers, only when the player has decided that management isn't their thing, then and only then can the old boys have a laugh about it (Neville, Shearer etc)

You can play your stupid games elsewhere but don't try to play that with someone who has a good grasp of how the media is used to manipulate people and set agendas against certain people.

Fans are quick to believe that the media are against their clubs or certain players who they have a soft spot for, but interestingly, those same fans would turn around and shoot down suggestions about Media bias against certain players. Fuck off with your nonsense.
You are selecting snippers of information that doesn't back anything you say up. During Burnleys success I guarantee you there was countless praise for Kompany and rightly so. Dyche probably had an axe to grind, Burnley sacked him after him getting them up and keeping them up for a few years on a shoe string budget. The first season it wasn't looking great they sacked him and then they went down. Kompany took over, got them promoted, done a stinker of a job trying to keep them up, much worse than Dyche and his reward was the Bayern job. Of course he may have a gripe about that and be bitter. His view would be Kompanys name has elevated him to levels underserved and the old white englishman has been kicked to the curb? Who knows but you cannot expect him to be buzzing about it. Many people mock Gerrard, Rooney and Lamps until recently. There isn't an agenda. Kompany got a job he wasn't qualified for. The same level many have said Gerrard wasn't qualified for the Villa job and that's on a much smaller scale. It is called not being a deluded biased idiot yourself and not be biased because we love Kompany. He is a legend at our club and always will be. Doesn't mean I feel he should get special treatment in the game, the exact same way I hate the ex players quoted getting gigs they do not deserve. That is called balance. You are an unbalanced weirdo

You are the unbalanced imbecile here. Being selective and shifting the post, first you claim no one had it in for him, now its "Yes, Dyche criticized him in public because he has an Axe to grind with Kompany".

I asked you a question, give me an example of an ex English footballer who now manages a football club who went out to the media to criticize Rooney, Gerrard or Lampard? I am waiting, they can only have fun with topics like this after the ex-player has decided that he's absolutely out of his depth and decides to retire from management, then the old boys can all have a dig at that failed manager in the studio. Even when Chris abandoned Sheffield and crossed to another team, the team or ex players didn't call him out the way Burnely, Dyche and the British media had it in for Kompany, it was almost as if they wanted Bayern to have a change of heart.

You really think Kompany brought Burnely on a premier league tour and then said you know what, the tour is over, it's time to go back down? They had the best defensive record in the championship, in 38 games, a newly promoted side had the higher share of possession and shot on target in 11 games, even against more established sides like Crystal Palace, Chelsea, Newcastle and Manchester United, but yes, some dim-witted imbecile claims they went down without a fight so surely that has to be what happened, right?

He was "rewarded" with the Bayern job? surely you know better than the Bavarians and it looks like they made a huge mistake hiring him right? If only they had taken some time out to consult with the village idiot who has anointed himself a football expert l, maybe they would be in a better position right now. You really are a fucking goat after all.

NO ONE HAD IT IN FOR HIM DURING HIS TIME AT BURNLEY, NOBODY CLAIMED BELLAMY WAS THE ONLY REASON BEHIND IT ALL AND NOBODY WENT IN ON KOMPANY DESPITE A STAGGERINGLY SHITE CAMPAIGN.

If after that people debated if he deserved the Bayern job, or mentioned facts like he didn't deserve a job of that level, why does that offend you? If Gerrard got the Bayern job I imagine by your tone you would be incredibly offended, and rightly so. So what is the difference? He wasn't their first choice, he was down the pecking order and decided on Kompany and fair play taking that chance. His managerial record did not deserve that job. You are fucking mental mate, I really worry for you.

Why are you using all caps? You are fucking losing it mate. Get off Kompany's back and do something productive with your time, go take your meds. You are clearly a very bitter and disturbed person.

@Txiki Txiki Bang Bang & @thegoatsthegoat I've book you a double at the Heaton Park Prem Inn for the night after the Villa game....enjoy ;)

luckily for him his biggest domestic rival will likely be bombed.
Xabi Alonso, Wirtz and a few decent players could all leave from Leverkusen.

that kind of makes sure another title in the bag.

but to be fair winning Bundesliga with Bayern is an achievement like it would be for City each year if we remove dippers, Chelsea, Arse, rags etc from the league and lets say Villa would be the second strongest side after City. in squad and commercially.

Tbf, you have to look at the process the German rags went through before deciding on Vinny.

A couple of established, proven managers had either failed, won a little and then got fed up of the shit and interference from above trying to bring in quality on the cheap.
Then their next choices wouldn't touch them with a bargepole, so they had to go young and untried.
Tbf to Dyce, he didn't fit any of the next criteria.
1. He wasn't an internationally recognised ex player
2. Probably doesn't speak German
3. Never played in Germany
4. Never won a premier league or anything of note (I don't think)
5. Never played for the best manager in the world and more importantly knew his coaching methods or had access to him.
6. Didn't have the right shaped head.

Tbf to Vinny, the side he created at Burnley, played football a lot closer to what Bayern wanted to achieve, and it's not turned out too bad for them. Vinny's second season will need to be even better and he will have to stand up to the ex players mafia there.

I actually think Vinny did a terrific job at Bayern — winning the league quite comfortably and playing super attractive football.

I watched both of their matches against Inter, and wow, the amount of chances they created with literally six starting players out against a side like Inter was astonishing. They completely dominated them over two legs, and if it wasn’t for the ultimate bottler Harry Kane, they would have quite comfortably gone through — all without players like Musiala, Davies, Upamecano, Neuer, Pavlovic, and Coman.

To think Vinny could be close to winning the Champions League now if he had a full squad available is quite something.

Hopefully he will come back soon.

When are we starting the discussions?
He’s doing phenomenal, and yesterday’s game against Chelsea was such a joy to watch. The way he set his team up was brilliant…Vinny has to be right at the top of the list to replace Pep.

They will compete for the Champions League title, provided there are no major setbacks, as they do not have two top players for every position.

Not sure about that, I think their centre backs are average.

It's hard for Vinnie as he will be expected to win the league in Germany so the only way he can make a name over there is from a serious CL push, which as we know, is difficult to do. If we don't win it then I wouldn't mind them winning it even though I dislike Bayern. Can't say I have watched them to know how good they are or how they play.

Not sure that is fair, very few teams demands more from their centre-backs than ehat Vinny is currently. And they seem to handle it good enough for Bayern to be very competetive

What he does in this, his second season determines that. When he moved there first there is no way he had the credentials to take over from Pep, however that is now changing.

He is on the right track.

The way Vinny commented on Ricky Hatton's sad demise just reminded me of what a classy guy he is. Thoughtful and perceptive words from one legend about another. Would absolutely love for Vinny to be involved with City in the future either as a manager, DoF or in some other senior capacity.

Just signed a new four-year deal.

Seems sensible, think he's done a lot better than most expected. Basically made them the team to beat in Germany again, which I know isn't the hardest job but they're playing good football on top of that. CL QF exit is about the minimum for Bayern, so did that last season too.
