Is Pep really thinking "Fuck you Vinny" or is that something you've just made up?
I'm not sure why people have to think there's always something underhand going on - player gets injured, player returns, player gets injured. That's football.

He's been ok most of the time and has been worryingly bad once or twice. He has the odd wonderful performance in him on occasion but I don't think he's good enough to be first choice CB which is essentially what he is, if Kompany is out for a lengthy period. Apart from anything he's just way too slow to play in our high line and that's before you factor in some of his decision making. If we have him starting most matches this season, I think we will struggle to win the league and won't have a chance of winning the CL. I apologise for using the word wonderful, it was a mistake, I don't think he's in any way a wonderful player.

If we don't win the league, it wouldn't be because of Otamendi.

Anyway, I so agree we need a Kolarov replacement. And I still reckon Vlad Chiriches is one of the best backup CBs I've seen.

Liverpool did test us until they went down to 10 and their manager shit himself. Shaktar could have caused us problems if they had a little bit of composure. Fuck me, even Palace threatened us a few times before falling apart after conceding. So yes, I'll wait until Saturday before proclaiming we're as solid as you think we are.

Watched a bit of Chelsea last night, and on that performance, they will more than test us. Kyle needs to kick that little twat up into the air in the first minute

Yep and I'm interest to see how Stones and Otamendi handle Morata; he is a classy player.

If you say so. I was trying to turn over a new leaf and not be horrible about him but I try to phrase myself in a kinder way and you end up taking advantage and pushing me into being horrible about him again. :)
