Stupid decision to play him tonight. One game a week max for Kompany like the run at the end of last season. Midweek games are a no-no for him. Pay-as-you-play contract and he’ll be fine.

He has a contract for another 18 months. He won’t be getting another as a player. I can see him trying to play in the World Cup and then packing in.

He was done after 5 mins. He'd have exerted himself more in a warm down. Sadly, we have to face the fact he is broken.

Gutted for him but surely he can't be considered a squad member anymore.

He's earned the right to stay and hopefully become part of the coaching staff but we need to sign a replacement.
