Vincent Kompany is unreal.

I know Vidic has had a good season, however I can't believe the comparison with Kompany.
Vidic is too reliant on dirty tactics (that he nearly always gets away with).
He always swings his elbows on the jump (and often in an unnatural fashion).
Watch the replay of him against Dzeko in the 2nd half.
Cut his head open, and wasn't even mentioned by the commentators, never mind the officials.
Vinnie is cultured by comparison to that ape!
He's definitely world class, and the most devoted to the cause that we have.

Vinnie is quite clearly at or about the top of the centre halves I can easily call to mind i.e. those who are regularly mentioned as the best, no mean feat considering that a) he was bought as a midfielder and b) he is 4 or 5 years younger than the age at which most centre backs hit their peak.
Having watched the tackle he got booked for (in today's cissy game) it's hard to disagree with the ref's decision just like it's hard to agree with his decision not to book then send off o'gay and fletcher (who should be booked just for walking on the pitch IMO) and not giving vidic a straight red for his assault on Dzeko.
The guy is immense and as a goalie I would have saved my voice a lot of wear and tear if I was ever lucky enough to play behind a defender like him.
We should offer him a 5 year contract for whatever our top earners are on ( no I do not believe the press) at the end of the season as I am sure I have read on here that we do not ( except in the Tevez case ) do this sort of business during the season.

Wondering why really its still only us blues raving about him, you'd think that fans of other clubs would have picked up on this by now?
I was reading the paper this morning (first time since I dared to look since Saturday) and saw some of the Player Ratings from the weekend - no Vincent in the team but shock horror Smalling was in there, and Kompany got the same score as Lescott, a friggin 7 - who the fuck was the match reporter, Stevie Wonder?
