This picture is fucking class.

A lot has been made about Smalling not marking him properly, but if you ask me there was only one person in that box who had the desire to win that header. I don't think a bulldozer would have stopped him.

My daughters prob giving birth 2mo and if she don't call the little lad vinnie she's getting no inheritance

how much did we pay for him,£6m? Money well spent.
Something we can thank Hughes for

Hopefully we can also thank him for a bad qpr showing on the last day so we can lift the title if we beat Newcastle on Sunday.

Vinny is the consummate professional and City through and through.... Legend!

i fucking love the bloke, gives his all, loves the club and the perfect captain, on and off the pitch.

a leader, a warrior, an inspiration.

he must have rose above the crossbar for his goal, i loved quinns quote; "look at the tenacity on his face" and then BOOM

Fuckin love Vinny, a true professional and the best skipper we could ask for. So pleased for him today!!!

Henry Winter just tweeted...

"What a class act Vincent Kompany is. Almost midnight and he's outside the Etihad, still signing autographs for #mcfc fans"

How classy is that!?!?! Who does that these days? What a legend.

He's Mr city, what more is there to say? Watching that interview has eased my nerves a bit, actually seeing how much he wants this title, you can't buy that. Hopefully that rubs off on the rest of them. Night blues.

Right from the off he just oozed Captain fantastic - the focus in the tunnel, the way he went around every City player before kick off and had a quiet word and a man hug, the colossus of a performance culminating in a potentially priceless goal, keeping Shrek in his back pocket all night, that interview post match and still signing autograph's outside the stadium now. What a man and what a captain.

Amazing man. Just incredible.

When he retires, make him manager or CEO of the club.
