Some great pics of Vinny at the after party. He looks proud as punch and loving every minute. Great pic of him with Tony Book.

That is one of the best pictures you could ever see and is exactly why City's owners should be regarded as highly to the rest of the world as they are to us. Two captains/ league cup winning manager in two completely different eras of success, the owners have come in and bought a group of players that recognise the history of the club and what it means to the fans. No shirt colour changes, no changes of name, just a dedication to taking the team to the top and all the time recognising where it has come from and those players past and present who have helped make us what we are. Fantastic.

Just to add, Kompany is one trophy away from equalling the success as a captain of Tony Book - two trophies away from making him City's most successful captain ever.

because you have to heroic when you play next to a 'footballer' like demichellis.
No excuse for a poor thoughtless challenge like that. You can't possibly blame someone else for it !

oh fuck off.
Vinny is only human if he makes a mistake, then I am sure he will do everything in his power to rectify it.every one makes mistakes.

I thought he had a poor game yesterday.

Doesn't take anything away from him being a great player.

But the effort for their goal, being out of position a few times and the constant giving the ball away was not good.

He made a great tackle on Borini when he was through on goal. Borini was offside but linesman did not flag. I doubt we'd have won the game if Borini had scored then

I also thought he was a bit unlucky with the first tackle. He made the challenge and connected with the ball, but it ran very kindly for Borini. It could have gone anywhere, but somehow went to his feet

I don't remember any issues with his distribution

Glad he lost the Belgian flag for this pic

Poor today, but joe harts become the scapegoat, so this thread probably won't get to many bad posts
both were dreadful in that situation, but hart definitely should have saved that. no matter what.
