Just seen a clip of Klopp being asked in a press conference whether he felt Vinicius was "doing something to provoke the crowd to be racist?" I presume it was a Spanish journalist. Klopp responds really well and gives the only possible answer with is basically a "wtf nothing justifies racism" but even the fact that question is being asked just goes to show how deeply ingrained racism is there. Really disgusting behaviour, not just a few bad apples.

Angelotti also speaking out v strongly despite journalists wanting to speak about something else.

It's an old clip from when they played Madrid earlier in the season I think. Unless they have asked him about it again

Hate that "he needs to stick it out to beat the racists" narrative. It's not the victim of racism's responsibility to root racism out of Spain.

I'm sure earning millions and the status of playing for RM can allow you to leave a lot of principles at the door, but being called a monkey by the whole stadium most away days isn't something you can block out, and you shouldn't be expected to tough it out, either.
