He has hardly played in that time, you simply cant have sentiment at any level when you aiming for the top. Pep for one simply won't accept it.
Vinny has go to go to the end of the season 100% fit, otherwise, in my opinion, his time as a City PLAYER is over.
He has been 100% fit for the last 4-5 weeks...Pep just hasn't played him.

Nobody us jumping to conclusions. Nobody is trying to write him off. Nobody wants his career to finish. We all know when fully fit, that he's one one of the best CBs in the world. We also know that he's a legend. So please, just for a moment, fuck off with the sentimentality.
What is absolutely clear. What is absolutely conclusive is this.
His injury record over the last 2 years is utterly horrific. The man is made of glass. He has lasted 90 minutes once in that time. It is one injury after another after another...........
No man is bigger than the club. We have been beyond patient. We have stood by him.
But in the summer we need to go out and find another Vincent Kompany.
so if its just a knock cause someone in training has booted him/caught him does this not matter?
I do agree we need to fid a replacement but thats also because NONE of the other centre halves are even close to as good as Kompany is (playing wise and leadership wise)
