    Really sad news but there's no better example in world sport of someone quitting at the top. Even Usain Bolt waited one race too long.

    Just watched this unfold on Sky sports breaking news. Whilst it came as a bit of a shock, I'm totally behind him in his decision. He's given a million % to our club and has dragged us to the top of the tree. Vincent Kompany, City will always love you more than you will know. Good luck skipper.
