Hang on a minute I expressed severe disappointment that he was leaving, before he made the announcement about Anderlecht, I never said he was being forced out

I for one had him written off a couple a seasons ago after he had something like his 14th injury at the club. unbelievable that he not only came back, but came back like he’d never been away. He is a true city legend and Like zabba it hurts that he’s going. I’m sure he’ll be back at the club on a few years. Best of luck Vinnie.

Its been a privilege to watch him play, I am glad he had gone out on top and for people of my generation he will go down in the annals just like Bell, Lee and Summerbee did for our parents.
