We don't need another centre half imo. This guy is absolute class, his natural position is centre half and he excels there. Given a run in the team, like he's had, and it's impossible to move him out of the team.

Yes we'd all love a Chiellini or a John Terry but Kompany is improving every game and he deserves his shot. It's no coincidence we've shored up in defence (last night apart) since he's been there.

Also, Boyata looks a class act. One for the future, but what a future he'll have

Completely agree mate he was outstanding and imo the best CH at the club

although we have conceded 8 in 4 now even if you exclude last night 5 in 3 so not completely shored

Kompany was awesome yesterday. The entire first half ManU had the ball, but could not create any danger because of the defensive work, tackling, positioning of Vince and Boyata

Said all last season he was a centre back and that's exactly what he is. For now I would put Lescott at LB and have Toure and Kompany at CB. Boyata's time will come.

Just out of interest I would love to know what Vinny thought of Hughes bending over backwards and paying £24m for Lescott last season whilst he was always here??

My Lass, a rag, even mentioned that Vinny and Dedryck did a cracking job on Rooney for most of the game and was well impressed with both.
