Whatever centre back we bring in will be first choice, they have to be. Almost no point signing them otherwise. I imagine we'll keep MDM on for another season to aid the transition, keep Nastasic, get rid of Lescott and bring in someone to go into the first 11 alongside Kompany.

Totally Agree with you. To be honest I'd renew Milner's contract and use him at RB when required.
 
MDM will be here next year as he has another year on his contract so we will have Kompany, Nastasic and MDM I cant see us having anymore then 4 CB's going into next season Rekik could go out on loan again but I don't get why we would pay Celtic a fair chunk of money for a player who is behind Rekik in the Dutch national team. But to be honest I would probably prefer him to Mangala havnt seen much of either but the fees that have been mentioned and the fact that he plays in Portugal put me of Mangala. He will be a gamble cant remember many players who move from Portugal to England and hit the ground running.
