Johnny Evans is bang average at best. Rather we signed no-one than that mid-table 29 year old ex-rag.

Would have loved van Dijk here whatever the cost, and gutted Liverpool have got him ahead of us, but if the club think that's the best option then that's good enough for me.

Stones and Ota have been great up to now, hopefully no more injuries and Komps can stay fit more often than not (big if, I know). Need to get a tall, fast, reliable centre back around 23-26 age range in summer though.

I really rate Harry Maguire. I think he'd be an excellent signing. For some reason he doesn't get the credit that he deserves but he's just as comfortable on the ball as Stones. I guess it's cos he is big so looks unorthodox but he's very talented.
