In all seriousness he would be coming in as third/fourth choice. The way Stones and Ota have played this year means he gets nowhere near starting XI.

No way were we ever going to pay 50m let alone 75m for a back up centre half. People need to get in the real world. Liverpool's fegensive need is far greater than ours and Saints had their trousers down.

That's just bitterness on the part of Southampton fans. VVD is far better than Hoedt. He's been poor this season but his mind is elsewhere. Not encouraging for LFC that he appears to be a mard arse.
 
They must be getting that and some for Coutinho in January.
I quit fancy them to win the league now.
I wonder how much Celtic will get if a sell on clause was in when they sold him !
