I would wait until the summer and go for Alderweireld or Koulibaly.

You know what, I think Alderwerield is more realistic than it was at the start of the season. Spurs can't afford his wage demands. I could see him being tempted.

I believe he has choose Liverpool knowing he will be there main man in defence, they have shown belief in him for awhile.

City’s interest has probably increased the price and possibly his wages.

Worse thing that could have happened is that it could have dragged on, so if this is the case then good it has all been sorted now.

It's worth more to them at this stage to try and claim they would rather now lose him for free.

Great player but I can’t help but think it’s the system that’s the problem at Liverpool rather than the individuals.

They’re like us under Pellegrini in his last season. No noticeable defensive organisation and no one in front of them to help them out. Plus I don’t think he has enough experience to help organise them on the field.

Capable CB but a sulky mard arse to boot.

Can't be doing with that kind of player; it would upset the squad too much. A bit like when Yaya spat his dummy out a couple of season back.

Great signing for the scousers. Their attack is second only to us and now they have a leader in defence. They’re going the righty way to becoming second best team in the league.. nowhere near the best of course tho :)
