Virgin Broadband

A small warning. They over subscribe on the odd occasion.

Mainly London that high utilisation has been a problem for a while, they have been throwing money at updating all the exchanges though. If you have high utility raise a complaint and they will credit your account monthly until the fix date.

I got a pound.

They got two fingers.

They check your usage, tons of customers ring up saying they get slow speeds have no internet and want credits then when you look in the account have used something like 500gb and is inline with their monthly average.
Thought VM had dropped throttling years ago.

It wasn't the case for me, anyway. I got treated badly and lied to by India. It took numerous calls to them to admit there was a problem, but I eventually found out the area had been oversubscribed for 6 months and the estimated fix was another 6 months. Then they offered a £1/month discount and was advised to use the internet "when it wasn't as busy".

A bit of an odd way to treat a longstanding quad-play customer, but I've never regretted moving all my services.

Yeah it has been a pain in the arse and cost the company god knows how much in fault techs who can't even fix the issue as it is to do with infrastructure. Don't get me started with offshore lol.

All 1.3 billion of them?
That must have been one hell of a long phone call!

Result...just rang using same layman's as yourself....currently on the 200 vivid broadband only...stayed on the 200 but got it down from £45 a month to £26.50 on 12 month contract...what a splendid company Branson has built himself

Great stuff. Good saving over the 12 months. We just need to remember to do the same next year.
