Virgin Media - Black Friday

I’m in the process of cancelling and only have a few days left . No call from retention yet either
Virgin are great at bringing people on board, plenty of UK based contact, the minute you are signed up and have a problem it's all foreign call centres that don't have a clue, you ring them 3 times for the same problem and 3 times you will get different answers, the only other time you get to speak to someone in the uk is of you select the looking to leave option
 
My discounted year with Virgin is up. I will not be renewing.

I've been through Sky, BT and Virgin, that's me done with all of them. Pub with a couple of pints for the City games I can't attend and dodgy streams for everything else.

If you are close too the end of your contract can get you signed up in your partner's names as new customer's. Give your notice then send me your partner's details name and phone number etc and can get it set up as a new customer.
This sounds like the same deal we got with Virgin in January this year. £79 for all channels and their fastest broadband. But in Jan 2020 it will go up to £120-something. Not paying that, so I may take you up on this in a couple of months!

@meldrew do you should till work for VM? If so, any chance of a decent existing customer deal, or will I need to cancel And put in partners name?

If I do that, will there be a few days without service?
