I agree somewhat and hardwood bellis and Simpson pusey but honestly do you think they have attributes to be world class? I don't! And hopefully this guy has more potential!

It just seems the sort of player that the clubs from Portugal do for these young players to bring them in, turn them into top players and flip them for big profit? Obviously we have done the likes of Jesus and Alvarez but clubs like Sporting, Benfica, Porto etc do it on a regular basis?

Let's see if the two incomings happen first, there was a lot of noise around Bah but that's faded away.

But I tend to agree with you. Doyle will probably be another sale with buy back/sell on clauses. Simpson-Pusey perhaps next season's loanee with a view to a similar deal in the summer of 2026.

I think the sell with big back is a great way of getting these lads games
Look at delap, Harwood bellis etc they have developed so much

I’m not sure who’s out there for that role. I’m not particularly keen on Luiz, but if it’s on loan then maybe that’s the option we go for. See how he does, if it doesn’t work then we save our money for the summer. Zubimendi would be the one. Add to that these kids were signing and Marmoush, we’d be ready for a second half of the season run. Bobb being back in the next few weeks will be big for us too. Just a shame if Zubimendi wouldn’t fancy it.

JSP absolutely not ready for first-team football and needs a loan. By the start of next season Akanji, Stones and Ake will all be in their 30s so no reason we couldn't integrate Doyle as well as these two lads.
