Got an invite to the White House for the 12th today.
Paddy’s Day is the 17th and that would be be the normal tradition.

But it’s hard to keep up with what’s real anymore.

I just saw a longer version of the thing rather than just the heated bit. I think zelensky irritated them by pulling out his war atrocity photo collection (hence 'propaganda' remark from vance), and it seems trump was not going to get his rare earth deal without continuing US support for the war.
I still thinks this leads to a face saving exercise all round and everyone wins - zelensky seen to hold his position, the US gets the mineral wealth, Russia keeps eastern Ukraine/ crimea, and the defence industry arms the EU peacekeepers and Ukraine deterrent.

From the handshake outside on arrival where he was told, “I see you came dressed up” to the press questions that very quickly became Trump answering everything to suit his own agenda and seeing Zelensky clearly exasperated at his lack of opportunity to speak to then again, some lackey journo publicly humiliating him again over his attire and then when he finally said fuck this, I’m speaking, Vance let loose with the humiliation and Trump piled on emboldened by it.

That’s what happened mate. It was an ambush and imo very scripted as far as Trump and co are concerned.

Will it work for them? I think the minerals deal will be signed and we will eventually get a ceasefire etc but yesterday I thought less of Trump and co and this morning I’m even more fucked if with them and around the world I think many eyes will have been opened to what these idiots are about in reality.

It was awful mate, a diplomatic disaster for the USA and an incredibly dangerous thing for them to do.

No, it was a pre planned attack from Trump and co, perhaps Zelensky had a heads up this would be the case and decided to not sit and listen to constant lies and attacks about his homeland.
