VPN

Little explanation please from the network engineers.

I have flashed WRT successfully onto a Linksys router (primarily for ad-blocking...soz ric) and then heard about using it for VPN namely Fireguard...Now is that. Using it as a VPN client with a paid for service or is it a personal VPN using magic to obfuscate my traffic for free?

I am using pure vpn, $3.33 per month on a 5 year plan. The speed is very good and there are a large number of servers across the globe.
