VPN

I don't really understand why people need vpn's, the only thing I'd want one for would be using the BBC player here in Oz, but there's so much wank shite on there I couldn't be arsed.
I had one once and it slowed my interweb down.

And anyway someone told me the BBC had figured them out. And you only got the service for 2 or 3 weeks.
With you Bill. Still don't use one and tv runs great.

I need one as I predominantly watch Czech TV while in the UK. When overseas it is useful for watching Sky/UK TV.

In China for 14 days or so, and I stupidly signed for a month on ExpressVPN. Utter bobbins. ASTRILL always did the job and was never a problem. Just sharing my regrets.

if you are in the UK and have a VPN which shows you in the USA, am i right in thinking you can search USA TV channels to find and watch City games.

Still getting 50gb free over here from Windscribe, plus whatever the browsers offer for free. Can't imagine paying for it.

Sorry for asking what might be a very simple question here but, if I was to pay for a Nord VPN, will this give me the ability to watch BBC Iplayer and Discovery + on my Samsung phone whilst in Portugal?

For MOTD on Sunday morning and European games/highlights whilst here.

Also, is it very simple to set up on my phone?

Cheers blues

Hi there, just wondering if someone can help a complete novice when it comes to technology. I am travelling to the U.S. on Thursday and will
miss a few games whilst i’m away, however i want to be able to watch these either on my ipad or iphone. Can someone let me know what the best VPN’s are for these devices and ideally free ones but if the quality is much better to pay for one then hopefully a reasonable cost one. I have done a bit of research and the main 3 that keep coming up are Nordvpn, Express Vpn or Protonvpn but don’t have a clue what to do for the best. Also whichever one i choose is it easy to sort out after installing the app?

Many Thanks
Martinmcfc

I have been using NORD vpn for about a year now, with no problems ..... it's as good as any of them, and probably better than most, but it's not a free one (i think you can do a trial period though)..... i only really use it for the football however.

Had no problems whatsoever setting it up, they basically do most of the work for you ....

Nord is currently £60 for 2 years upfront .
I wouldn’t even bother with a free VPN tbh.
Yes, Nord is very easy to set up/use.
That's a good deal ..... I've had NORD for over a year now , and it cost me £80 when i took it out on a 2 year deal.

I chose this vpn basically because of the large number of servers that it has.
