W**kers in pubs with kids.

Walkers wouldn’t be my favourite crisps but I know kids like them and they keep them quiet, so no problem with letting them have a packet……

Wait, oh I see now from your first post.
Hmmmm. Picked you up all wrong.

Hang the barstewards, I say.

Miserable bastard but ye I agree with yappy dogs who don’t like others fuck off, my dog doesn’t make a peep and just wants crisps, she’s never a problem.
Your dog sounds fine, (I don't mind dogs btw) but the fact that there were at least 6 of them clustered round the bar area, where someone could easily stand on one or trip over a lead is just wrong.

Any time I'm over for a game, I'll nip into Mary D's for a lime cordial. Usually lots of kids in there. Hardly ever see any of them running around, bumping into people, screeching or crying. Perhaps something to do with their parents keeping them under control?

And yes; I've seen the other side of the coin in pubs over here..

It's really the fault of the parents, not the kids.

Kids can and do behave if managed correctly. I regularly use a cafe that is often full of kids, but the kids behave and no reasonable person could complain. It's the sort of people who go in, I suppose. The place doesn't seem to attract scrotes, although it welcomes every colour and creed in the area.

There’s a pub in Beverley in the East Ridings (I forget its name) which has the rules of:
No kids
No dogs
No mobile phones.
If you get your phone out and you are seen you are asked to leave.

How it should be.
