We need to start thinking about later rounds and getting used to playing a system/team which will work against the better teams.

Play that lineup against France in the quarters and we get absolutely destroyed in midfield.

changes should have been made after a 6-2 win? easy to say in hindsight

I try my best to sway away from caring who he plays and getting into tactics/formations - It's up to the manager, that his job and I dislike the constant outcry/pressure from fans who demand who he plays

but that is part of parcel of the game nowadays I suppose although I'm sure England fans are the most obsessed about who plays and where.

The entire country seemed to be baying for Foden to be brought on, on Friday night. It wasn't just City fans.

Southgate is as stubborn as a mule. He'll explain why he hasn't picked someone (form for example) but then contradict himself by picking someone in far worse form such as Maguire.
