I don't think Southgate is up to the job, but who is? The managers we have had and all have failed bar sir AlfLike 90 or 96 losing to France would not be a huge shock. You play a good side and you have to accept it. It would be nice to get over the line for once in a hard to call game for once.
Going out meekly to certain teams deserves critism. I'm not anti England more frustrated. I gave rashford and maguire credit so far this tournament so I ain't without balance.
Just think the manager has a position way above his ability. Its one of the hardest jobs in world football.
