Walkers Stadium Shaking

This is a mesage to the Leicester fans reading and contributing to our threads. Thanks for a good day out. Met a few of your fans yesterday who were genuinely complimentary and thanks for the comments on here. It's refreshing to be able to have good banter between fans. I hope you have a good season (FA Cup apart) and if you want to do you own version of "The Poznan or Braunston" as someone put it on your fanzone in the Championship be our guests.

Here's to your promotion this year and maybe we can get the whole ground doing it next time we come, now that would be something.

You may need another new stadium afterwards though!
The Braunston is local speak for mugging !

Evening all, sorry to drag up an old thread but I can't start a new topic for some reason. This one is ideal for it though.

When the draw for this game had taken place can anyone on here remember (along way back I know) how the red/black tribute to Neil got started and at what point the club stepped in and got the scarfs going. Did a fan come up with the red, black idea?

We are trying to get some atmosphere back in our ground namely against Cardiff in 2 weeks and to get it to a stage where everyone knows and the club are willing to go ahead with it. Any advice would be great, thanks for taking the time to read it.

It was a fan on this website and this website itself where the idea for and the organisation of this came about.

City had already been selling black/red scarves that season but then offered a free one with the ticket for the FA Cup tie at Leicester.

I think I may claim to the original idea,as I posted shortly after the draw was made, about the idea of a special tribute to Neil Young, suggesting the club should honour him at this match.

Good shout wembley. Was a great tribute.

Just found my original post ...

Is it fate that we have drawn Leicester when our Nelly
is quite seriously ill,I am sure the club can raise aware
ness of his plight with a view to honouring his efforts
for the club on an occasion when he scored the winning
goal versus Leicester in 1969.Ideas please.....
