All this rhetoric is sickening if not scaring me....

I hope these little scrawny public school boys who are talking up war using the same misguided scare tactics they used for the last disaster in the desert know what they are getting the country if not the world into.

They forget the hypocrisy behind there comments which is OK i suppose, but to think we are stupid enough to (A) believe it and (B) fall for it again just makes me sick.

Who is the only country to use the nuke, Iran?
Who has had countless wars in the last hundreds of years?
Who hasn't attacked another country for the last 300 years, America or Iran?
Who has to live with a superpower next door who constantly invades neighbours and who is allowed illegal nukes?
Who has been accused of secret nuclear manufacturing when they told the authorities 18 months before they had to
Who has been constantly rubbished and derided by the worlds press?
Who's going to fight off any invader, destabilising the middle east.

This coming war will be a disaster, we will lose thousands of men and we will probably have to call up fighters!!

God help us if we get involved, it will be the end of the world.

They will tell us we are under threat
They will tell us the world is with them
They will coordinate a hymn sheet and sing off it to aplomb
They will manufacture a dossier and pimp it up.
They will make crap up like "He said he is going to wipe Israel off the map"
They will ignore the advise and warnings from the likes of Galloway, Benn, Cook, Kelly,
They will appease the American arms industry and give lucrative contracts to there friends
They will rush in thinking it will be a walk over and get spanked, hang around saving face then creep out 20 thousand men dead, facing financial ruin and hatred by the rest of the world and alienate themselves and us from the Muslim world!!!

TBF a Scud is a weapon of mass destruction so... Also the yanks knew that they were there because they sold them to Saddam before the first war! As for Iran, I think there is a real danger of a war. Not as extreme as the OP is concerned about (no nuclear war will happen) but we will go in at some point. For me the worry isnt Iran but Korea!

Don't believe the hype. B.O. isn't a complete moron like Bush was, he is a diplomacy guy who isn't worried that the rest of the world will doubt his manhood unless he kills some brown people.

If McCain had been elected I would totally agree with the OP but with an intelligent, thoughtful president I thing it's next to impossible that we go to war with Iran. A week of world leaders at the UN was bound to stir up something like this but it will likely blow over.
