Israel has significant influence in the corridors of US power. Will they tolerate a nuclear armed neighbour?

My guess is that insurgency attacks in Iraq will be increasingly blamed on Iran. There will be a provocative strategy from the US and Israel, calling for all sorts of sanctions and promises from Iran. The outcome may very well be what the OP rightly fears.

Its all about destabilising from within.It will kick off in Iran again.There is already an underground resistance like in ww2 going on within Iran.They really need to get rid of there elected(?) leader(fuck knows how to spell his name) but hes a fruit cake and selling him as that will bring a revolution there.
 
I watched the Iranains leaders UN speech on CNN (BBC and Sky cut it. Probably so they could twist in later news reports) and i agreed with majority of what he was saying.

- The "death" of marxism has left capitalism with no one to keep it in check

- The UN needs to be overhauled as two or three countries have a greater than the whole continent of Africa.

- Condeming Countries invading others for their own personal gain. (I wonder who that was aimed at?)

Whatever you think of him he's telling some home truths that some countries don't like. Hence the destablisation attempts.

I don't fear the Chinese. They have thousands of years of history. They don't have to go around the world playing the big guy because they already know who they are. Although their record in Tibet is truly, truly horrific.


The people to really fear in our time are the Americans, the Israelis and the British. The Russians have changed, but are still dodgy. These are the only countries with recent track records of war mongering.
