Just a warning for anyone who parks near Ashburys station, on private land at a company called CGB Engineering, don't do it anymore! I've parked there fairly regularly since COMS opened, however today I returned to find my car had gone and I'm left with a £425 clamp, tow and storage fine! They've introduce a no parking rule, there's a couple of signs but if you've parked there in the past then, like me, you wouldn't even think to look for them. Seriously pissed off! They charged me £125 for clamping, waited an hour to come back (something they knew I wouldn't do as they specifically targeted City fans on matchday) then towed me with a £250 fine, plus a daily storage fee of £50. Absolute joke.

Sorry to hear it mate, they really are the utter scum of the earth.

That is just a total sickening scam, its a wonder some of these bastards don`t get lynched I really feel for you, horrible snidey t**ts. On a similar note I parked on a side street today in an area next to the conservative club on the new rd not where I normally park but was in a rush, there were 3 cars parked near me so thought was ok, I got out and noticed the restricted parking zone signs as I walked off so went straight back and a scally on a bike said `mind yer car sir`told him it was restricted parking, cheeky f**ker said its ok my auntie lives at this house, told him I was moving it. On way back after game the 3 cars parked there had fixed penalty notices on them, so do look for the zone signs and don`t park in front of `aunties` house....

Remember the good old days at Maine Road anyone, park down pretty much any street pay a kid a quid to watch your car(only for them to do one) and have no worries like this.Just shows how out of hand clamping has become.

It was only 10p not £425. Seriously Op I feel your pain. You should have alked back to City Square/ Mary D's/Eastlands/or even the Townley and got a hit squad together to take the gits out.

to be fair i think the payment was more for them not to do anything to your car more than them looking after it
