John was always a guy who could say one thing one day and another thing the next, Paul was always the driven Uber workaholic and most ambitious of the four, Ringo was well just Ringo really but George was just always down to earth, like you could meet him in the pub and he just be an ordinary guy.

We have to thank him for remortgaging his house to get the Life of Brian movie made when universal and the other big name studios didn't want to know because of the subject matter.

I like him in this interview he's just down to earth.

I read Philip Norman’s book on George earlier this year and he did come across as a down to earth guy who was throughly decent in all but one respect - his treatment of his first wife, Patti, was absolutely appalling.

Yes George was a real philanderer, he did it with his second wife Olivia as well.

He was a pretty big coke head and treated wives like shit. So yeah, if you think there's plenty of day to day blokes who do that then I suppose he was down to earth

My favourite Beatle too. Watched a documentary on the Wilburys the other week, we've lost some greats over the years.

Now we have modern rhythm and bass shit. Musically we had the best of it guys and gals.

I like him, and his music but he was rock star, enjoyed his drugs and was extremely religious I doubt he was that down to earth tbh

So cool he gave his wife to his best friend. Laid back as fuck.

Even if you dont believe in a physical God but do follow the principles of dharma then you will attain moksha:
Anyway I'm sat sitting crossed legged on the floor with a gin and tonic and at the 1:08 found myself lifting of the floor.
