Was lucky enough to be in the tunnel.....

Zabs and Vinnie are the true leader along with Nige, I met Zabs at the airport a couple of years ago he was really friendly and seems to be a leader. But Vinnie is more of a natural leader

before the match last night.

Couple of observations:

- Kompany is a born leader. His last words shouted before he lead everyone out "Be strong tonight boys". Goosebumps.

- He may be made out of glass but Rocky seems very, very popular with both management and players alike. Saw him embracing Mancini and then he went into the City changing room before the match and got a huge welcome. Seems a genuinely nice lad. Not the best of buys but decent pro, hope to see him playing again soon (but not in a City shirt!)

If anyone wanted an idea for a banner then that quote along with a pic of Vinnie would do nicely.

He's got to remain as captain, permanently. IMHO. He makes a point of leading the team out at half time as evidenced both at Wembley and Ewood Park.

IF we do win the Cup, then I want Vinnie picking it up!

Kompany by his own high standards did have an average game at best yesterday, I love the guy and he has been awesome all season but it was just an off night for him, just a bit sloppy at times and almost gave away a pen.

Are we the only country in the world who really give a shite who the captain is? Born leaders will lead regardless of silly little armbands. Kompany is obviously a leader, and the other players obviously know it as well, so there's no need to campaign for him to be club captain.
