he wont have achieved it by charging at players, on the verge of striking them and telling them to f**k there mothers on the flipside tho

Agreed - as i said i dont believe the details as described BUT i do believe that there is something in it - why did he high five Santa - could it be he is pissed off playing on his own and had a "frank exchabge of words" at half time - seems to fit - but what fans need to consider is that Tevez relationship with Mancini is not exactly iddylic and could / may go the same way as Bellamy did - so Mancini or Tevez?

Do you just come here to spout bullshit theories?

Maybe he high fived Santa because, y'know, they're friends as they both play the same position and speak the same language?

Tevez playing on his own is what's best for him, and he absolutely knows it. The whole reason he came here was to become the focal point of the club, which he wasn't at United.

Dickheads come over here and say how Tevez's 'relationship with Mancini' isn't great, which is just crap really. We have a dressing room full of fiery winners, heated arguments will happen from time to time. Besides this, Mancini is the boss, plain and simple. Even Tevez isn't stupid enough to fall out with his boss, when he's on an astronomical contract, is the focal point of the team and is talking of retirement in a few years. I have no clue who will pay him anywhere near what we do and still give him the same privileges, and I'm sure he's clever enough to realise this.

Posts such as the above show beyond all reasonable doubt that you have never been in any sort of competitive team based situations in your life, especially sporting ones.

The idea that any dressing room at any club is some sort of happy clapping Buddhist convention is utterly ridiculous; no manager from the beginning of time to now has ever kept a constant lid on all of the players during the down times.

Perhaps you should read Gordon Strachan's autobiography, where he talks about wanting to twat Fergie and constantly getting at him despite this being in his fearsome 'hairdryer days'. He also says later that he would die for him on the pitch to try and impress him, because he hated him so much that he wanted to stick it in his face. Ferguson would seemingly criticise him and blame him for the whole team failing, which would motivate him to go out and play.

Perhaps Mancini has seen that Tevez responds best when he has a point to prove, thus he feels that criticising him is a good idea, as the second half showed, it worked. This is called man management, which is why he gets five million quid a year, and we don't.

Also, I'm still skeptical on whether anything of this sort even happened. Ian Ladyman broke the story and he's right up there with "the Viz" on accuracy of news.

there is clearly an element of truth to this as something was clearly wrong with tevez like he was trying to make a statement to mancini that he didnt like it on his own up front, he appeared much more positive when ade came on, i think his celebration going to rocky was a hint for a strike partner.
I do however believe it has been exagerated beyond belief for one, if the row was as bad as it is suggested then i cant see tevez shaking mancinis hand at the end.. also bobby who has always come across as a smooth, calm man doesnt seem capable of such violent outrages as are constantly suggested in the press.. my theory is that there is a leak within the club and its coming from someone who clearly has some beef with mancini and wants to make him look bad.... its only a theory though

Poor Tevez. Poor Mancini.

Football people may be the loneliest people on earth now.

Tevez once said it's so hard living and playing away from home.

He's a South American traditional. He's not like Maradona who will grow to world status. Tevez will just stay in humble size. Heritage is more important to him.

The same goes with Mancini. England may have stretched his soul. But who knows they may sacrifice their personal ways and beliefs, for once.

Because they can't go back now. Mancini with the money spent. Tevez with the armband. They have to do it and have a winning season, even just once.

Then Tevez can go home. Mancini can go home. De Jong can make movies. Toure can build a kingdom. Sometimes you need to sacrifice your personal dreams, to make them come true.

Re: Tevez and Mancini bust up (Funniest bull**** of the year)

Well said Damocles... just want to add one thing... I think Mancini wants a fiery dressing room where there is a high to the ceiling... I think he wants the players to express their arguments and use that to motivate... im not worried at all about these "bust up" scenes... its just bits and parcels of how Mancini works... just look at his time at Inter... lots of hotheads in that team and Mancini made them working together...

poeple can't change somethings about them which i really believe Mancini isn't a player manager, cause he is critic on the player when they don't give him what he wants to see.not good for someone like him who wants to achieve something like tittles.
Then he’s not gonna last long. A manager in a big club has to have great man management as he’s dealing with millionaires with huge egos. If its come down to player vs manager the manager always lose out.

Yeah, right. Manager always loses out? That's more bullshit than the original story.

ROBERTO MANCINI launched a four-letter rant at Carlos Tevez in a vicious dressing-room bust-up.

Tevez swung his arms at the Manchester City boss who poured out a stream of insults at his skipper during Sunday's clash with Newcastle.

Mancini was heard screaming: "Go **** your mother" before ordering the striker to shut up because he was the boss. The row erupted at half-time during City's 2-1 win at Eastlands.

City boss Mancini was furious at his team's performance but Tevez began to complain that the side was not set up properly and were playing too defensively.

Great thread. FFS why bother.....

Mancini then made the mother insult and Argentina star Tevez leapt up and confronted his boss, who in turn charged towards the player.

City team-mates and staff grappled to keep the pair from thumping one another. After Tevez, 26, was forced to sit back down Mancini continued to lay into the players. The Italian then stormed out of the dressing room into the tunnel.

Tevez followed and later they shook hands after the player was subbed.

Talk to any old pro about half time/training ground bust ups and their eyes will light up and they will start beaming from ear to ear.

It happens, it's part of the game, it always has been and always will be.
do you really think wenger and fergie has players standing up to them and swears at them?
Erm, yes. Don't be so naive.

I'm sure there probably were words exchanged but it's blatantly obvious from the way the article has been written that it has been wildly exaggerated. Heated disagreements between players and managers happen at every single club all the time; it really isn't news unless you're a bit wet behind the ears.
